All researchers (investigators,
coordinators, those who run, use or manage databases, those who run,
use or manage core labs or other data repositories) will be required
to review the
HIPAA Training Handbook for Researchers
by clicking on
the icon below. In addition, you will be required to complete a brief test
to receive certification of completion of this training. Verification
of HIPAA training for all researchers, which is verified by completion
of the test, will be maintained on file in the Office of Research
Programs. Failure to obtain a certification may delay the IRB approval
process. You may access this test by clicking on HIPAA
Researcher Exam.
