the course. Before taking the
computer-based training program, here is a quick introduction to the
course. In order to navigate throughout this course, use your

By selecting the appropriate link
above, you may view the course menu or the glossary. The menu
link will only be functional once you have completed the Course
Introduction. The glossary will always be available. You may also
return to the MedStar Research Institute home page or the IRB page at
anytime by clicking on the links above.
Course Structure

It takes about 1 hour to complete
the course.
We encourage you to do the course
in one sitting, if you quit before completion, remember the
section you were in so you can return to the same spot.
Typing in the web address for the page can also take you to the
correct page when you return to the program.
It is important for MRI to
have documentation of your completion of this computer-based education
program. This is especially true for all newly employed researchers
who are required to complete this course. You must register
electronically once the course is completed.
When you have completed
the entire course, you will be given instructions on how to register.
Throughout the course you
will find forms and helpful information that you might wish to have
copied to your computer, to either print out or simply have on file.
